I’m a self-taught illustrator & and currently running both Junior Art Lab and Artably, social enterprises which aims to empower disadvantaged children and underserved communities through art and design. I started out by using PowerPoint to draw and hopes to make it not only fun but accessible for those who would like to learn digital art in a simple way. A passionate changemaker and lifelong learner with a mission to give back in my own way. Grounded with a strong believe to inspire compassion for the less privileged to create a more inclusive society.
Work
Junior Art Lab was started to empower disadvantaged children by providing them access to learning opportunities for developing creative digital literacy skills in a fun and engaging way. We felt that marginalised communities have limited access to opportunities for developing skills to better equip them in the digital technology era. We aim to support and guide them to bring about positive impact in their lifelong outcomes and narrow their developmental gaps for them to have a brighter future and better life opportunities in the 21st Century.
Artably is an illustration and design studio based in Singapore. Founded in 2020, the platform aims to build a more inclusive creative community through art and design. We design and collaborate with our differently-abled artists to showcase their talents and support them in developing their financial independence.
