As the first theatre programme since COMMA’s inception, *SCAPE brings in up-and-coming youth theatre company Bound Theatre to stage a play revolving around the interactions between the past, present, and future, with the emotional underpinnings of hope, anxiety, yearning, and grief.
Riding on the heels of Bound Theatre’s acclaimed production A World Without Eggs, staged at the National University of Singapore in March 2024, 91.3FM expounds upon the ideas brought forth from Eggs, exploring how individual choices and emotional experiences from the past intersect with present circumstances to shape the future.
Known for the interactive nature of their productions, Bound Theatre invites the audience to play an active role in the show’s plot, with their choices affecting the storyline.
Each staging of 91.3FM is unique due to the different choices and contributions from the audience each show. The audience experiences the narrative in a non-linear way that highlights the fluidity and subjectivity of time, memory and dreams.
Audiences will then reflect on how the viewing order of past events can influence one’s present life narrative, and how that eventually shapes the way we see the future. This encourages exploring other interpretations of the “objective” events in their own lives.

91.3FM by Bound Theatre
For the longest time, Olivia has felt as though she’s drifting aimlessly through time, letting each chapter of her life float past her. A life changing decision sees her struggling to anchor herself amidst the ghosts of her past, and the uncertainty of the future. Her only reprieve comes from a familiar radio show that provides a semblance of comfort through its eclectic mix of music and musings.

Juliana Kassim Chan
Juliana Kassim Chan (she/her) is a stage and TV actor based in Singapore. Her theatre acting credits range from devised theatre with her collective Bound Theatre, to playing the lead role in Shakespeare’s As You Like It. Juliana was nominated in the Most Promising Actor category in Mediacorp Suria’s Pesta Perdana 2023 for her role in Identiti (Papahan Films). |

Wendi Wee Hian, a Lasalle BA(Hons) Acting graduate, is pursuing an MA (Research) in Theatre and Performance Studies at NUS. She has trained with Suzuki Company of Toga in Japan and SITI Company in the U.S. When not teaching or working on her thesis, she enjoys crocheting trinkets and indulging in online shopping. |

Yan Shan Seet
Shan is a storyteller and theatre-maker. She is a founding member of local collective, Bound Theatre, and has created different works with them since its inception in 2011. A video producer by day, she enjoys incorporating what she has learned in theatre into the world of filmmaking. In her free time, she enjoys jogging. Just kidding. Jogging is the worst. |

Tan Shao Yun Shao does techy and artsy things, having made his nest in interactive exhibits, like Otherworlds, FLOW (SAW ’20, ’21) as well as multimedia for Bound’s SCREEN.SHOT. (M1FF’23) and A World Without Eggs (EMCC’24). To get his creative rocks off, he improvs with and makes elaborate videos for Improvper Conduct. He’s glad to be back annually, just like the McGriddle. Or the Double Down.
