Meet 9 year-old Ashleigh Tan who loves dancing and singing.

1. What inspired you to start dancing?
When I see others perform on stage, I really enjoy seeing them dance. So I wanted to give it a try.

2. What do you think is your favourite genre of dance and why?
My favourite genre is Hip-Hop because you can have fun and there are some moves that are slow and gentle, and then there are moves that are fast.

3. Who do you think if your biggest role model at this moment?
My biggest role model is my sister Haylie Tan because when I see her dance I can see that she really enjoys it and she puts in a lot of effort.

4. What is the most funniest and most random thing someone has said to you after a show?
The funniest thing I’ve heard someone say before was at the start of my dance they said my face was very… powerful.

5. What would you say to others who are just starting out dance for the first time?
Continue dancing and make your dreams come true.
