Mentors
Eternality Tan
ET is the Vice-Chair and Programming Director of the Singapore Film Society where he organises film festivals and regular year-round screenings. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer of Film Studies at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication & Information (NTU), DigiPen Singapore Institute of Technology, Nanyang Polytechnic and Shelton College International. In addition, he is the Managing Director of The Filmic Eye, a film and education consultancy that has worked with *SCAPE, National Arts Council and numerous schools. ET is a prolific film critic with over 15 years of experience, having written more than 2,800 reviews on his award-winning site: eternalitytan.com. He was previously a Film Analyst as part of Netflix’s Contingent Talent. He holds a Master of Education from the National Institute of Education, furthering his passion for melding film and education together. |

Priyanka Nair
Priyanka has dabbled in various roles in the film space for almost 10 years, from marketing for film festivals, to building communities of cinephiles, and to editing film reviews and analyses. She works in Singapore Film Society as Head of Marketing, Community and Business Development, where she collaborates with festival programmers to find the best ways to pull audiences into screenings of exclusive films that the society brings in, and with volunteer writers and content creators who are experimenting with their voices. She has a personal mission of connecting more people together through the love of film. |

Matthaeus Choo
Matthaeus was the lead content writer for Sinema.SG — an independent online publication supporting local filmmakers and promoting film literacy and Asian cinema — where he managed the website’s editorial direction. In 2022, he served as a Mentor in the inaugural Film Critics Lab. Matthaeus brings with him three years of experience in content creation across print and new media, and is currently a public relations professional based in Singapore. Whenever he isn’t caught up in his obsession for lost media, he fights for everyone’s right to be weird — just as much as he knows there is someone out there who will fight for his. |
