How important is a community in helping you pursue your interest in esports?

A healthy and proactive community is important in helping one maintain that small flicker of hope when one seems lost or down for having a really bad game/games.

It keeps me motivated and not quit. The community is also great in helping me cool off or take a break from playing, be it taking a whole new game by its horns together with some of the community, talking or just encouraging each other to BREAK THE LIMITS.

What do you like about a esports community?

Personally I like how everyone is willing to help each other improve themselves even amongst people with drastically different skill gaps, the engaging conversation discussing about each other’s mistakes and what could be done to correct those mistakes, and that we could tryout a whole new game together instead of sticking to only a single game is what delights me as often times than not I get sick of playing a ML after a long day of playing and I find myself delving into a new game to chill and it’s really refreshing to have someone else experience that together with you.

Have you grown as a player attending *SCAPEesports programmes?

I have to say I’ve improved by leaps and bounds since my first visit to *SCAPEesports programmes. Before I got dragged along to the programme by my friend, I used to think that these programmes were a waste of time as they were never going to help me improve but I’ve come to think of it a different way now. Right now, I would’ve really regretted not attending *SCAPEesports programmes and all of it’s community rally, seeing familiar faces every month and each other’s growths is what really makes me look forward to them now. *SCAPEesports programmes presented me with an abundance of friends and knowledge. Now that I look back I really had no idea how to play the game before attending *SCAPEesports programmes. THANKS *SCAPEesports for hosting these wonderful, wholesome events for the community!
