radioriotgrrrl invites you to join us in Room of Our Own!
In space-starved Singapore, a room of one’s own is not complete without the people around it that made it possible. (No one is an island on this island!?) Throughout our past activities as radioriotgrrrl, we always find ourselves becoming the meeting point of weary introverts finding each other. At COMMA, we hope to become a cosy nest for youth and art-dwellers alike to reconnect with the roots of rest and resistance through the spirit of DIY.
On weekdays, the room will be open to the public as a drop-in space for anyone looking to dive into our DIY resource hub.
The room will also be an installation space for photo ops and a rest stop for festival goers. On weekends, the room will extend beyond the weekday programming to involve craftivities! These activities will be zine-making, crochet and Still-life sketching! We hope to see you at RRG’s Room of Our Own!

radioriotgrrrl (RRG) is Nadhirah Khalid and Mengju Lin, or Natto and MJ. RRG was born during their angsty art school years. Borrowing the ethos of the riot grrrl movement of the 90’s, RRG is about punk, intersectionality, and making a more hospitable and joyful world together.
