Re:Play Showcase 2024 Rules
- Eligibility
Re:Play Showcase 2024 is open to any Singaporean or PR ages 15-35 years old (before 31st December 2024) residing in Singapore during the time of submission.
*SCAPE reserves the right to verify and confirm each Applicant’s compliance with eligibility requirements. The Applicant may be required to submit further information to assist in the verification of eligibility.
- How to Enter
- Work alone or in a team
- All registrants (including team members) are required to join *SCAPE Discord server.
Submission Details
You may submit a digital game, or tabletop/card/board game prototype.
Submission must include a minimum 1 minute to maximum 5minutes link or video to your project’s gameplay
Submission must include 2 digital A4 summary boards – this will be printed into physical A1 size boards if your showcase is selected for display
Please ensure that google drive sharing settings is set to “Anyone can view”
Please ensure 3rd party assets are legal to use. *SCAPE will NOT be responsible if any team breaches copyright terms of asset usage.
Digital Game Requirement
Submission must be playable in the browser and/or an exe.
Game must be in a playable state with no major game-crashing bug.
No limitation to Game Engine used
Tabletop/Board/Card Game Requirement
You do not have to submit the physical game.
You will need to submit the following in a neatly organised Google Drive folder:
– The ruleset of the game
– Digital print-friendly version of your game components
Submissions must comply with the requirements set out in the Terms and Conditions. Any and all costs incurred for Re:Play Showcase 2024 are to be borne by the participants (except the printing of A1 size board to be used during the showcase).
*SCAPE reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, which entries have satisfied the entry requirements and to disqualify any Submission it believes is not consistent with the spirit and theme of the competition.
- Selection Process
A group of industry partners and experts will be judging the submission base on a few criterias
- Design and user experience (UX)
- Art and aesthetic
- Completeness of the game
- Originality of the idea
- Showcase
A total of 6 games will be selected for showcase during the 2 day event at Re:Play 2024, *SCAPE Treetop, Level 5. At least one (1) representative MUST be present during the showcase, you may take shifts within your team.
Digital Game
A laptop will be provided on the day of the event
Set up of your showcase will happen on 26th July 2024, please ensure that you and/or your team are available the day before to ensure that your game is running smoothly before the event
Tabletop / Board / Card Game
Please prepare your physical playable prototype or completed game for live demonstration and explanation.
All cost incurred to be borne by participants

Audience Voting
Audience will get a chance to vote for their favourite game that inspires and captures their heart during the showcase
The winning team will be awarded with:
