Ng Sze Min is an audio storyteller and the Co-Founder of Artwave. With over 5 years of experience in storytelling through the medium of sound, her work has been featured internationally in Australia, Scotland and the USA. Some of her best works include being a resident artist in Kluang, Malaysia, engaging local residents to detail a sound map of their town which culminated into an audio walk and song, Story of the Coffee Town, on Spotify.
As the Founder and Creative Audio Producer at Artwave Studio, she leads her team to collaborate and partner across the arts, businesses and communities to create audio-first encounters and programmes. Listen to the latest immersive audio adventure, Blind Diving, taking listeners to popular diving sites in Southeast Asia. Produced in partnership with Coastal Natives for Waves of Change Festival 2021. Or a 30-min creative guide to soulful reset for wellness app, frankie. You can also watch Sze Min’s feature on Channel News Asia’s Into the Vault, where she speaks to various experts and recreates the soundscape of 1950s Singapore.
Artwave’s team of creative writers, voiceover artists, sound designers and audio engineers have together presented work at the ArtScience Museum, Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, Melbourne Fringe Festival, and continues to innovate ways of creating community, such as through their radio channel on Telegram.
