*SCAPE Music Day Out! Hosts
Joakim

Mediacorp 987 DJ, Joakim Gomez

Joakim first became a household name as an 18-year-old during the 2nd season of “Singapore Idol” in the year 2006 where he achieved a Top 5 Finish.

Since then, he was the only finalist signed on to Mediacorp where he took on various acting, hosting, and performing projects. Upon completing his National Service where he was the Singapore Armed Forces Music & Drama Company resident host between the years 2011 – 2012, he pursued a career on 987 as a part-timer, and was signed on as a full-timer within a year. He now co-hosts The Shock Circuit with Sonia Chew every weekday from 4 – 8pm on Singapore’s Number One Hit Music Station 987.

Having hosted various National Day Parades, and high profile shows, he has gained plenty of experience in a very short time. With the training he has received in the SAF MDC, he has mastered the ability to be a versatile host/emcee. Whether your event requires a highly energetic emcee, or one where guests will feel at ease listening to, feel free to reach out to Joakim. His desire to entertain and to always deliver a good show should further give you the assurance that your event is in good hands.

Germaine Pic

Mediacorp 987 DJ, Germaine Tan

After 4 years in the radio industry, Germaine now keeps you company on the airwaves at Singapore’s Number 1 Hit Music Station, 987FM. Catch her on the Ad Free 50 on weekdays, 2-4pm, along with her co-host Chris Mak.

Previously known as Baby G on Muttons In The Morning, she realised she had to drop that name before she turned into Auntie G. Don’t worry – she still responds to Baby G!

Germaine is the go-to guru on all things beauty and food. Need a foundation recommendation? She is your gal. Wondering what is the latest restaurant to paktor at? She’s got you.

Like a chilli padi, she’s small but packs a punch! With a big voice and personality, she is not afraid to try it all.

Germaine is also known for having a heavy purse. Want a mint? Maybe some perfume? How about a plaster? Everything you seek is in her bag. Just don’t try to carry it. Your arm might just break!
