In the self-guided zine time, discover your creative flair by planning and decorating a zine with your favorite songs, concert memories, and images. Limited spots ensure personalized attention by Vann, better known as @quartersugarplease and assistance will be available for digitally preparing photos to use.
Our main workshop will see Vann guide you on translating dance artistry onto paper, by knowing where to look and breaking down moves from the latest dance trends – a drawing masterclass where you’ll be encouraged to get off your seats.

Vann
Vann (@quartersugarplease), a versatile artist in animation and illustration, finds a lot of inspiration from music and dance, shaping her own creative works that have led to further collaborations with comic publishers, musicians as well as Adobe. Digital tools are a mainstay in her everyday professional practice now, built upon a cherished past time of cutting and pasting speech bubbles and character drawings onto folded pieces of paper. It’s all about how art begets art and Vann sees zines as a fun way to craft personal reflections using everyday art tools into something you can hold, share and revisit.
